সুরমার ঢেউ সংবাদ :: ব্রিটেনে বৃটিশ কারি এ্যাওয়ার্ডের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও স্বনামধন্য রেস্টুরেন্ট ব্যবসায়ী এনাম আলী এমবিই, এফআইএইচ (৬২) আর নেই (ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)। তিনি ১৭ জুলাই রোববার ভোর ৩টায় যুক্তরাজ্যের একটি হাসপাতালে ইন্তেকাল হয়েছেন। এনাম আলী এমবিই, এফআইএইচ’র মৃত্যুতে ‘রাজনগর ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বিজনেস, ইউকে এবং সাপ্তাহিক সুরমার ঢেউ পত্রিকা পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে অবস্থানরত ‘রাজনগর ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বিজনেস, ইউকে এর চেয়ারম্যান এবং সাপ্তাহিক সুরমার ঢেউ পত্রিকার প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সম্পাদক ও প্রকাশক ড. এম জি মৌলা মিয়া সিআইপি, এফআরএসএ, এফআইএইচ। ইংরেজীতে দেয়া তার শোকবার্তাটি হুবহু প্রকাশ করা হলো।
Assalamu Alaikum,
I am devastated and shocked to wake up in Bangladesh to the news that my beloved friend, community colleague and brother-like figure, Mr Enam Ali MBE FIH had sadly passed away. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna ilaihi Rajioun. Since becoming friends in 1986, our bond had been so strong over the years, where we had worked together on many occasions and organisations, had been able to challenge for so many community causes and so forth.
Enam bhai, founder of the “oscars of the curry industry”, British Curry Awards, former President of Guild of Bangladeshi Restaurateurs, Founder and editor of Spice Business Magazine. He is a true legend of our community, a pioneer of the British Bangladeshi industries but more importantly, a charming, wonderful and humble person that has touched so many lives. I am saddened to know that he is no longer, only after meeting up with him back in March and speaking To him before I flew out to Bangladesh.
We had been working on an organisation project for almost 3 years, which was due launched very soon where he had been appointed the Chairman and I had been appointed as MD, which is now sadly going to take a halt on our project. He was a man that made a success of everything he had participated in and put in a lot of effort in things he did.
May Allah SWT, grant his departed soul peace, grant him the highest ranks in Jannatul Ferdous and provide peace to his family in this difficult time. May our almighty reward him for his hard work impact for the betterment of our society and community. The Dunya is indeed a short period of time, but may Allah allow us to all be ready for the after life and pray for those that have departed us. Ameen.
