After a long halt due to the Pandemic, a dinner and Get-Together was organised and hosted by the newly-appointed UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce and Industry [UKBCCI] Midlands Regional President and President of Moulvibazar Jela Jonosheba Sangsta, Dr M G Moula Miah. In attendance were some prominent community leaders and activists. Present were Mr Golam Mahmud Miah (President Canada Awami-League and Chief Advisor of Moulvibazar Jela Jonosheba Sangsta Midlands UK), Mr Abdul Latif JP (Former President, West Midlands BNP), Mr Azir Uddin (Chairman, Birmingham Awami League), Mr Faizur Rahman Chowdhury MBE (Chairman, Birmingham Business Forum), Misabur Rahman Misba (Chairman, Desh Foundation and Secretary of Science and Technology, UK Awami League) , Mr AKM Kamrul Hasan Chunu (Chairman, Nabigonj Welfare Association UK, Vice Chairman, Bangladesh Multi-Purpose Centre Birmingham), Mr Mafiz Khan (Chairman, Bangladesh National day Celebration Committee Birmingham and Former Vice President, BNP), Mr Shelu Miah (President, West Midlands Caterers Association), Mr Foyez Uddin MBE (Chairman, New Hope Global and Corporate Member of UKBCCI), Mr Ranju Miah (Member of UKBCCI and Former Secretary General, BNP West Midlands), Mr Toffozul Hussain Chowdhury (Secretary General, Organisation for Recognition of Bangla as an official Language of United Nations), Mr Mashuk Ali (Prominent Business Entrepreneur and Member, UKBCCI) & Mr Abdul Rouf (Restaurant Barajee). There was a brief discussion amongst the attendees about the activism in the region as present and in future, and the outcomes from the pandemic in all aspects.
